Connecting to God's World:
One of the primary ways the people of St. Andrew Presbyterian seek to connect to the world around us is by offering regular training opportunities for foster parents in Auburn, Dekalb County, and the Fort Wayne area.
Held on Saturday mornings, parents and children enjoy a meal together. Afterwards, children take part in a fun planned activity just for them. The meal, training and child care are all available at no cost.
On April 24 Lifeline will train us on self care. May 15 we’ll hear a brand new training (at least new to DCS) from Benchmark Human Services on a suicide prevention strategy called QPR. Brunch and kid care and 2 continuing ed credits are provided!
Parents are welcome to attend just the training portion without their children. No RSVP needed for this option.
