Connecting to God's World:

Foster Families

One of the primary ways the people of St. Andrew Presbyterian seek to connect to the world around us is by offering regular training opportunities for foster parents in Auburn, Dekalb County, and the Fort Wayne area.

Held on Saturday mornings, parents and children enjoy a meal together. Afterwards, children take part in a fun planned activity just for them. The meal, training (for 2 credits) and child care are all available at no cost.

Parents are welcome to attend just the training portion without their children. No RSVP needed for this option.

April 29th
10am-12:30pm

You are invited to a brunch at St. Andrew EPC in Auburn at 10am on April 29th. After brunch children will be dismissed to special play time with our childcare team while you have training PART 2: Brain & Behavior: Experiences from childhood work together to impact our lives, our families, our schools, and our communities. Understanding PACEs research, the science of stress, and the amazing ways our brains can bounce back after exposure to trauma equips us to approach behaviors (our own and those of the young people we love and serve) as communication.

YOU WILL RECEIVE 2 CREDIT HOURS FOR ATTENDING.

As always, brunch and childcare are free but you must register using the link below. Please sign up today and then spread the word!
