Our church's leaders have agreed that we will not be ruled by the virus but we will respect it and the guidance provided by relevant levels of government.
Here are at St. Andrew Presbyterian:
We will wear masks and practice social distancing. Every other row of seats in the sanctuary is roped off.
Do not shake hands or hug -- give one another a wide berth.
Masks are to be worn the entire time you are in the building except when actively eating or drinking.
Masks must be worn during the entire worship service. Singing, sneezing and coughing are all major virus-spreaders.
Children under 8 are not required to wear masks, but if they will tolerate them please have them wear one.
In worship, in adult class and at inside-church events, it is recommended that you sit at a table with only your family.
Of course, you are encouraged to keep hands clean and use sanitizer. Bottles of sanitizer are available throughout the building.
