Prayer Partners: The Power of Prayer
As Christians, prayer is the most powerful tool we have, yet it is out most untapped source. In reality, prayer has been given a poor image. So many of us dismiss prayer as a weak alternative to practical action. We think of prayer as something for the more delicate saints while the "super-spiritual" are out getting the work done. Still, others view prayer as something you do when all else fails. What we do not realize is that we, as Christians, have in our possession an intercontinental ballistic missile that travels at the speed of thought and hits its target every time. What is even greater is that Satan has no defense against this weapon. Prayer is the most powerful and effective tool we can use.
1 John 5:14-15
14This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
Communication with God in prayer is the highest privilege a believer can experience. May our precious Lord bless you richly in your obedience to the task He has chosen for you.
